iCheckTPMS Pro Series Quick Connect Automatic Tyre Deflators

Airing down for the beach or an unsealed track usually means kneeling at every valve with a gauge, guessing when you've hit the right number. The iCheckTPMS Pro Series Quick Connect deflators are built to remove that step entirely — set the target pressure, clip one onto the valve, and walk away while it does the rest.

Key features

  • Quick-connect clip-on fitting — no tedious screwing onto the valve, no kneeling tyre to tyre
  • Deflates all four tyres simultaneously, each dropping from 40 psi to 20 psi in about 2 minutes 11 seconds (manufacturer-stated, for a 265/75/16 tyre) — airing down the whole vehicle takes roughly as long as one tyre would manually
  • Fully hands-free — clip on and walk away rather than holding a gauge at each valve
  • Automatic shut-off at a pre-set target pressure, individually adjustable per deflator across a 10-30 psi range to suit different vehicles or terrain
  • 6061-grade aluminium body with a stainless steel precision spring and O-ring seal
  • Micrometer-style laser-etched scale for setting the target psi
  • Comes apart in two pieces for cleaning
  • Designed and developed in Australia by an Australian-owned tyre-safety specialist
  • Positioned by iCheckTPMS as Australia's fastest and lightest automatic deflator currently available

RV use case

This suits tow vehicle, caravan and motorhome owners who regularly air down before beach driving, unsealed roads or rough 4WD tracks, and want all four tyres landing on the same pressure without babysitting a gauge at each valve.

Pros

  • Clip-on fitting removes the need to kneel at each valve — confirmed airing down on my own Suzuki Jimny
  • Genuinely fast in real use, in line with iCheckTPMS's own stated figures for deflation speed
  • Automatic shut-off at the pre-set pressure does away with the guesswork of getting all four tyres even
  • The tin case keeps the printed instructions and parts diagram with the kit permanently — nothing to lose or leave behind
  • Compact enough to live in the glove box rather than a tool bag or the back of the vehicle

Cons

  • None to speak of. The one thing worth a moment's care is dialling in the pre-set pressure correctly before fitting — but that's operator attention, not a shortfall in the product. Genuinely one of the easier bits of kit reviewed on this site this year.

Best for

Owners who regularly air down all four tyres before beach or off-road tracks and want a fast, hands-off way to hit the same pressure every time.

Verdict

Tested on my own Suzuki Jimny, and the clip-on system works exactly as it should — set the pressure, clip it on, walk away. The tin case is a nice piece of thinking too: instructions are printed on the lid so they travel with the kit and can't be lost, and the whole thing is small enough to live in the glove box rather than a tool bag. A genuinely well-sorted bit of kit.
