Sneak Peek: The AirVane™ Deflector
Next out of the RV3D lab is a fix for a problem almost every RV air con owner has dealt with: vents that direct air at the wrong angle, leaving one part of the cabin blasted and the rest under-cooled. The AirVane™ Deflector clips onto your existing air con vent and redirects the airflow so it spreads evenly across the whole cabin instead of dumping straight down in one spot.
Still in prototype and testing right now ahead of a full release — 3D printed in weatherproof PETG, no tools required to fit. Watch this space for the launch date.

Introducing the Convoy Clip
Our latest release solves a problem every UHF owner knows: where do you actually put the radio? The Convoy Clip slides straight onto your sun visor — no drilling, no adhesive — and holds your handheld radio upright with the antenna clear and the screen and buttons within easy reach of the driver's seat.

Introducing the RV Sentry Tag
Our latest release out of the RV3D lab is a small idea with an outsized job: stop opportunistic theft before it starts. The RV Sentry Tag is a suction-cup window tag, 3D printed in weatherproof PETG, that puts a clear "Protected By Alarm & GPS Tracking" warning in plain sight.
It's not a real alarm system — it's something simpler and, for a lot of RV owners, more useful day to day: a visible reason for a thief to keep walking. It sticks to the inside of the window, so it's shielded from the weather — run a tag on every window around the van, or on the windscreen if you're in a motorhome. Mounts in seconds, no tools, no wiring, and built to handle sun and weather on the road.

These additions were driven by customer requests for more premium-finish options — particularly for interior trim parts and accessories where a metallic appearance suits the fitout.

Upcoming Material Testing: Flame Retardant & Glass Fibre PETG
The next phase of material testing will focus on Flame Retardant (FR) and Glass Fibre (GF) reinforced PETG compounds. FR-PETG is being evaluated for proximity to 12V wiring runs, diesel heater components, and other areas where fire resistance adds a meaningful safety margin. GF-PETG, which offers increased rigidity and reduced thermal expansion, is being assessed for structural mounting brackets and external hardware. Testing is expected to commence in the coming months.

Luminescent Polymer Trials: Glow-in-the-Dark Campsite Gear
To improve safety and usability around campsites at night, field testing has commenced on high-luminance, glow-in-the-dark filaments. This specialised material is being evaluated across a range of essential outdoor products—including high-strength tent pegs, guy rope tensioners, and camping mat holders—aiming to minimise trip hazards and make gear retrieval effortless after dark.

Multi-Colour Manufacturing Integration
The production workflow is currently being upgraded to support multi-colour manufacturing. This new capability allows for parts to be produced in up to four colours simultaneously, enabling high-contrast text and decorative accents to be printed directly into the structural PETG core.

Advanced Material Testing: Carbon Fibre
To further support high-stress RV applications, carbon fibre reinforced filaments are currently being tested. These materials offer increased stiffness and a high-performance matte finish, making them an ideal future option for external mounting brackets and structural interior hardware.
