Vehicle Type

This tool never invents an axle or tow ball figure for you — getting that wrong has real safety consequences. Axle ratings are on your compliance plate; the tare front/rear or ball weight split has to come from an actual weighbridge docket.

Where you place each item front-to-back changes the balance estimate below. Heavier gear sitting toward the rear (or over/behind the axle when towing) shifts your weight distribution and affects stability.

Front–Rear Balance
This gauge estimates how your load is distributed based on where you positioned each item — it's a rough guide to sway and axle balance risk, not a substitute for an actual weighbridge reading.

Axle-by-axle figures require your RV's actual axle positions and a weighbridge visit.
